Next week, May 9-15, is National Police Appreciation Week and one area lawmaker is hoping to show a large effort of support for law enforcement in his district.
State Senator Win Stoller (R-Germantown Hills) is hoping residents throughout the 37th Senate District will help send a thank you and show appreciation to law enforcement.
“Members of our law enforcement have chosen to put their lives on the line in order to keep our communities safe,” said Sen. Stoller. “Their service and dedication should be recognized and appreciated.”
Sen. Stoller is asking people to mail or drop off cards, handwritten notes, encouraging and uplifting stories, drawings, etc. by Saturday, May 15 to his district office at 5415 University Street, Suite 105, Peoria, IL 61614.

CAMBRIDGE - State Senator Win Stoller (R-37), made four stops in Henry County last week to see how he could assist with economic development, infrastructure, agricultural, and educational needs.
“I was there to listen, and see how my office could help address pressing community needs. I also wanted to update stakeholders on what was happening in the legislature, said Stoller.
The state senator shared with Henry County Economic Development Commission members and others Wednesday that his SB 2631, introduced in late February, is moving forward with bipartisan support. The revenue-neutral bill would allow tax credits for small businesses, and is modeled after 11 states.
