They say she’s authentic and a true reflection of a Zulu woman.
Among them is TV host Pearl Modiadie, Thembisa (Mdoda) Liyema Nxumalo and recently Idols SA judge, Somizi Mhlongo.
Last month, Thembisa wrote: “My favourite episode of the season so far. She is life.”
In a Twitter thread, Somizi said he has never met Laconco in person, but he was quite impressed with her personality.
“Last night I watched #rhod on @shomaxonline, can I just say I’m here for Laconco, never met her, never heard her talk. Just seen her once in the newspaper... hayi the girl is the girl she thinks she is.. She is TV... Funny smart straightforward.... I don’t know her handle,” he wrote.
