The MCX October gold futures were trading down by Rs 61 or 0.10% from the Friday closing price at Rs 58,885 per 10 gram on the MCX while the December Silver futures were trading at Rs 73,190 per kg, lower by Rs 147 or 0.20%.

On the sectoral front, realty index rose 1.5 percent and bank index was up 0.3 percent, while Information Technology index fell 0.7 percent and capital goods index was down 0.3 percent

Coming to the OI Data, on the call side, the highest OI was observed at 19,800 followed by 19,900 strike prices, while on the put side, the highest OI was at 19,500 strike price. On the other hand, Bank Niftys support was at 44,400-44,200, while resistance was placed at 44,900-45,100 levels.

This week, investors will be eyeing key data releases, such as India's fiscal deficit, F&O series expiry, current account data, along the GDP Growth Rate in the US.

"Given the current scenario, its prudent to exercise caution when considering HDFC Bank. Waiting for more clarity and price stability before making a decisive move is advisable. The stock has a critical support level at 1500. A breach below this support level may trigger additional selling pressure, potentially leading to a decline towards 1430."
