A jury has acquitted alleged cop killer Jason Roberts of the murders of two police officers after an epic retrial that was sparked by allegations of police meddling. 

A former homicide squad detective who discovered colleagues had omitted crucial evidence in their case against an alleged cop killer may have provided the key that sees him walk free. 

In the 20 years since Jason Roberts first stood trial for murder, nothing much has changed physically in the Supreme Court. But there is one big difference.
