“From 1942 to 1945, during World War II, we saw large-scale migration of people from Visakhapatnam after the city witnessed aerial attacks by the Japanese on April 6, 1942. During the 1962 Chinese aggression, there were many people who lived in bunkers. In 1965 and 1971, during the wars with Pakistan, there was apprehension of an attack on the city.
