Your Bowie County Sheriff's Department did more than just arrest people and serve warrants last week, on Saturday, December 2, they, along with the New Boston Police Department, New Boston Fire Fighters, and Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers all participated in the New Boston-area Shop with a First Responder event at the New Boston Walmart. It was the last full week of October, the spookiest time of the year indeed, and things pretty much stayed the same again. According to the latest Sheriff's Report, Bowie County saw 53 arrests last week. Out of the total, 28 were made by Bowie County Deputies, and the remaining 25 were made by other law enforcement agencies in the area who then handed them over to the county.
