The ntsb says it spoke with three amtrak crew members today within the last couple hours. Saying the trains engineer and two assistant conductors talked to investigators today. Ntsb said the engineer of amtrak 188 is being cooperative but does not remember anything after ringing a train bell at the north philadelphia station. The engineer reported he was not fatigue. He was not sick. And the assistant conductor who was also interviewed today said she overheard a radio conversation between the amtrak engineer and a septa engineer. She says the septa engineer said his train had been hit by a rock or possibly shot at. And the amtrak engineer said he believed his train was hit as well.
