A portering supervisor at Craigavon Area Hospital had an audience with royalty last week to discuss his team s role on the frontline during the coronavirus pandemic.
John Brown, who has worked at the hospital for 20 years, received a personal telephone call from Prince William to hear how he and his staff have contributed to the smooth functioning of the busy hospital.
Speaking after the phone call Mr Brown said the Duke of Cambridge “was very down to earth”.
“It was definitely something different for a Thursday morning! It was a really nice conversation and it was a pleasure speaking with him, he said.
