(Fergus Falls, MN) – A former Minnesota legislator has died. Former Minnesota State Senator Cal Larson, of Fergus Falls, died April 1 at The Cottage in Detroit Lakes, Minn., at age 93. According to his obituary, Larson was elected to the Minnesota State House in 1966, serving for eight years before retiring. He later served as a Minnesota State Senator from 1986 until 2006.
