We are looking forward to a year of trying to make more progress on an issue that is of great concern to all of us. Just a recap of last year briefly. Last year the comprehensive addiction and recovery act was passed by the house and senate and passed into law. It provided with resources to address the opiod and heroin epidemic. We passed the act at the very end of the 114th congress. It added an additional 1 billion of funding to combat this epidemic. The house rolled out in the course of one w...
