The Vanderbilt National Pan-Hellenic Council hosted a fundraiser full of entertainment and food.

FSU CAREs Upward Bound will serve a total of 60 first-generation high school students from low-income families in Suwannee and Hamilton counties and begins on Sept. 1.

The event will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday at the Dr. B.L. Perry Jr. branch library on South Adams Street,

FAMU is giving their decades-old tradition, Set Friday, a makeover. The weekly event will be moving from the student union and will debut a new name.

ABCs Good Morning America settled on Bragg Memorial Stadium for its Friday show at FAMU. The live broadcast starts at 6:30 a.m. & is open to the public.

“Set Friday” will move from its South Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard perch to the grounds of the Will Packer Performing Arts Amphitheater.

“It was a full circle moment for me,” artist Elijah Rutland said. “It was my first time... returning to where everything started, in a way.”
