Kathmandu [Nepal], February 28 (ANI): Indian Ambassador Vinay Mohan Kwatra, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) Sushil Gyawali, and Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Bidya Sundar Shakya on Sunday jointly carried out 'bhoomi pooja' for restoration of Seto Machindranath temple in Kathmandu.
High-ranking government officials, local representatives, Officers from Reconstruction and Development Wing of Indian embassy were present at the bhoomi pooja.
According to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) release, the conservation work of Seto Machindranath temple is first of the 28 cultural heritage conservation and restoration projects being under taken with a reconstruction of Nepali Rs 5,800 million committed by the Indian Government for the cultural heritage sector.

Nepal [Kathmandu]: The restoration work of Seto Macchindranath Temple, one of the 28 heritage sites which will be reconstructed with the help of India's assistance, has begun on Sunday in Kathmandu.

Kathmandu [Nepal], February 11 (ANI): India will be funding a total of Nepali Rs 142 million for the reconstruction of three Cultural Heritage Projects in Nepal.
Contracts were signed on Thursday for conservation and retrofitting of SetoMachindranath Temple, Construction of Dharmashalaat Budhanikantha Temple and conservation as well as the development of Kumari Chhen and Kumari Niwas, said the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu.
The signing event was witnessed by the Head of Development Partnership & Reconstruction Wing of the Indian Embassy, Project Consultant INTACH, officials from CLPIU (Building) and other stakeholders.
