But president obama has vowed to work with president elect trump transition of power. The first step happened today as mr. Trump met with president obama at the white house. The meeting which president obama says was excellent lasted about an hour and a half. The two talked about domestic policy, and about setting up a team to make the smooth transition into the white house come january. Trump says we discussed a lot of different situations.
