Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel seized train tickets worth over 4L in Ludhiana in the past year. 31 persons were arrested for illegal sale of tickets. The RPF action is a result of individual complaints and special drives against ticket touting. Touts were using illegal software and fake IDs to book tatkal tickets.
