NEW DELHI: Rihanna s recent photo posted on Twitter raised a huge outrage among a section of her Indian followers.
In a tweet the pop star shared a topless picture of herself, wearing a statement Ganesha pendant from a shoot of her lingerie brand Savage X Fenty.
Meanwhile, just after the tweet, several netizens alleged that she hurt their sentiments.
One of the Twitter users wrote, It s appalling to see how Rihanna shamefully mocks our beloved Hindu God #Ganesha. This exposes how #Rihanna has no idea or respect for Indian culture, tradition and our issues here.
