Inflation in the United States is expected to have eased in September, but at a slower pace than in previous months. Economists predict a 0.3% rise in consumer prices from August, which is slower than the previous months 0.6% increase but still above the Federal Reserves 2% target. Core prices, excluding food and energy costs, are also expected to have risen by 0.3%.
