His Bristol Bears Rugby Club has announced that they have been hit by the devastating blow after a detailed medical check on the elusive centre and winger . The club said Radradra had a spectacular performance in Bristol’s 48-3 victory over Bath last Friday. He made a stunning 162 metre run with the ball in hand as he was the focal point of the Bears’ attack. Bears director of rugby Pat Lam said on the club’s website that Radradra had been complaining of a niggle in his knee which the club had investigated.

She made the comments yesterday after Aquaheat South Pacific Ltd launched its Education Support Fund at its headquarters in Wailada, Lami. The company provided $30,000 towards assisting students facing difficulties during this period. Aquaheat’s owner, Horizon Energy Group, approved the funding as they recognise the devastation caused by both Cyclone Yasa and COVID-19.

Fiji’s agriculture sector recorded a loss of $150 million during Severe Tropical Cyclone Yasa, says Agriculture Minister Dr Mahendra Reddy. He said parts of the Eastern and Central divisions and the whole of Vanua Levu were affected. “Our final damage assessment is out and we are submitting it to the National Disaster Management Office (NDMO),” he said. Dr Reddy said the $150 million damage bill was pegged for the agriculture sector including sugar. He said the ministry’s assistance to farmers in affected areas was ongoing. “The first round of support was immediate concerning food security, we wanted to secure the households,” he said.

27 January, 2021, 12:01 am The Fiji Meteorological Service in Nadi is forecasting heavy rain for parts of the Fiji Group. A heavy rain warning is in force for Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti groups. A heavy rain alert, it says, is in force for the rest of the Fiji Group. A trough of low pressure, it stated yesterday, was slow moving over the group with cloud and rain bands affecting most parts of the country until Friday. This, it stated, had the potential to bring severe weather over the group. A number of lows were analysed yesterday morning over our region.
