After several months of consolidation, Indian Overseas Bank has seen a decisive breakout on last Friday. The stock has formed robust bullish candlestick pattern on the daily charts with multi-fold jump in volumes, which brought more positivity in the counter.

If the index breaks 19,300, then it may get the next support around 19,000, whereas on the higher side, 19,600-19,650 is expected to be a crucial hurdle in the near term, experts said

On the indicator front, the momentum indicator relative strength index RSI (14) is showing a reading of 47 and Nifty is trading above its 200-day EMA at 18,331 which indicates strength.

Nikhil Vikamsey of Alpha Capital believes FY24 - FY25 should deliver as expected as there wont be any large uncertain events to unfold.

Short to medium term trend of the Nifty Index seems to be corrective in nature as long as it remains below the 19,795 levels.
