Resignation of lee thanks to this picture he sent to a lady friend on craigslist, that race concluded with a dramatic democratic upset. another very special election happening in the great state of nevada. got a little less special today when sharron angle announced she is not running in the special election for john ensigns seat calling the election an illegitimate process. she doesnt like the idea of either allowing a system where anyone can get on the ballot or a special primary election wher...

Congress. the effort to bring the peoples voice back into government did not end in 2010. >> it did not end in 2010. that effort ended today. she announced that she will sit out accept eets special election. sadly for people like me who make tv for a living, that means no more of this -- those awesome canisters that guest starred in angles pseudoowe campaign announcement. i do really want those kitchen canisters. i miss seeing them. thankfully, i get to see them now. joining us now exclusively l...

Remedies if she doesnt win. no threats, i think they were threats, about rape victims turning lemons into lemonade. not this special election. not unless a candidate as ama amazing as sharron angle emerges from the field. the reason theres a need for a special election in nevada right now is the john ensign sex and lobbying and ethics scandal. its being held to replace dean heller. mr. heller need resplacing because he was appointed to the united states senate when john ensign quit when mr. ensi...

Actions to destroy the unions. wisconsinites saw through what scott walker and the republicans were trying to do in wisconsin, and they reacted in a vivid and massive way at the state capital and in the streets. republicans were forced to pass their measure by a means that still look like it may have been illegal. the wisconsin union-stripping law has not gone into effect yet. it is still held up in the courts. republicans are still talking about maybe some other way of trying to pass it again. ...

That of course is our old friend sharon angle. if dean heller had to defend his seat against sharon angle, nevadas last republican senate candidate, how would dean heller do in that race? look, look? hed win 84% to 8%. he would beat her by 76 points. wow. when this same match-up actually happened in real life, in a congressional primary in 2006, heller only beat her by one point. now hes up by 76. nice. so thats dean hellers good news today. dean hellers bad news today is that mr. heller is due ...

Decision yesterday in this case is so baffling to us. it was such a clear violation of face, the freedom of access to clinic entrances act, to have made this threat, and yet the judge did not see it as a true threat. >> the woman who wrote this death threat, her attorney argued at the hearing that it wasnt directly a threat that angel dillard would kill the doctor. he described it as a warning to the doctor that other people might kill her. a, does that make sense to you, and, b, how would somet...

Understand what was meant by those words, about a bomb under a car, about we know where you live. the second part of that is the context in which the letter was received or the threat was made. and clearly, in wichita, the context is very certain. dr. tiller was murdered less than two years ago, by many -- by an individual who this person has been in touch with, at the network of extremists has said that were going to keep wichita abortion free, and they clearly are willing to use a bullet to do...

Man to continue to parade his family out, to evoke his family in that part of statement that you read, its just incredible. its as if he has to be pulled back into reality by other people finally. and in this case, it was the senate ethics committee voting. >> john, is there anybody else in contention for this appointment from nevadas governor besides congressman dean heller? is he considered to be a shoo-in for this appointment now? >> i think there are others who would like to get the appointm...

Movement that promotes violence? >> there has not been a single murder of a doctor in this country by an individual who was a lone wolf. in every single case, the person who actually committed the murder has been an active participant in a network of extremists who promote the murder of doctors, who advocate the murder of doctors, who many of them themselves have committed violence, and the interesting thing too, rachel, is that many of those who go on to murder start with threats. or they start...
