The LAPD believes they've arrested the man responsible for the theft of
Shawn Mendes's Mercedes G-Wagon
Law enforcement sources tell
TMZ that the suspect was arrested on Thursday (April 8th). Police caught up with him while following up on a trespassing call.
The alleged thief had a key that fit the singer's SUV. Sources say the suspect has been booked on two felonies, burglary, and grand theft auto.
Mendes and
Camila Cabello were at home in LA when burglars broke through a window and stole the keys to the SUV in late March.
