The Latin music fest will take over sections of the park on Saturdays and Sundays from May 15-23. On the music front, DJs are taking over the Wild Arctic Plaza (love this thematic twist) for maximum dancing to DJs and live bands playing salsa, bachata, reggaetón and the obligatory much more. Sea Harbor Pavilion will feature even more live music and dance opportunities.
Orlando Fringe will be channeling the wee-hours, freewheeling spirit of classic late-night tv telethons laster this week for their third annual Text-To-Give-A-Thon. On Thursday, April.

And before many of us would even be up and out of bed, most of it was already long gone. That early-morning happening, the brainchild of Orlando arts curator Pat Greene, was dubbed Walk On By, and this morning it s happening again. But herein lies the rub: By the time you get up and start your morning scroll, much of the action may already be over.

The neighborhood boosters have continued to put on socially distanced shows and other events for residents, providing much-needed third spaces as restaurants and bars became treacherous. That s continuing in May with a pop-up butterfly garden that will run for a little over a month. From May 8 to June 18, guests can take a stroll through the garden for $4. The site at 2507 Curry Ford Road is open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., excluding Sundays.
