The reconstruction project on Highway 34 is currently scheduled for construction in 2023, and will address pavement concerns, clear zone maintenance and selective shade tree removals in the right of way, culvert replacements and a bridge replacement at the Shell River. MnDOT expects to release bids next week (Sept. 19-23) and hire a contractor in 30 days. Logging would begin in November.
