W-SR discusses property disposal at meeting

The Shell Rock Sew and Sews worked together for nearly a year to construct twenty colorful nap quilts for this year’s Shell Rock preschool students.

The Shell Rock Historical Museum will be open Saturday, Sept. 16, from noon to 3 p.m. There is no admission charge and everyone is welcome. We have several new exhibits

The display will remain up Friday and Saturday, through the Sunday AMVET Riders car and bike show, and Monday, the 22nd anniversary of the attacks.

Waverly Utilities (WU) has entered into an agreement with Sandhills Energy to build a state-of-the-art 4-megawatt solar generation facility that will produce an estimated five percent of the utility’s electricity.
