The Oregon Department of Forestry reports more areas north of Highway 22 have re-opened following the 2020 wildfires.

As of late last week, a number of areas burned during the Holiday Farm Fire have been re-opened. But officials still urge caution.

Some of the forest land burned in the 2020 wildfires in western Oregon will re-open to the public in January.

The Oregon Legislature meets Monday in a special session, but a committee heard how the states lag in rental assistance is hurting people.
