After a co-worker who had been giving him rides to his job at Alliance Laundry had tested positive for COVID-19 in November, Bonner was quarantining when he began having coronavirus-like symptoms. Â
While staying in Ripon, Bonner had gotten so sick that he was taken by ambulance to the emergency department of Ripon Medical Center (RMC).
He then was tested for the coronavirus. But when doctors couldnât find the virus in his system, they treated him for a respiratory infection.Â
After receiving treatment, Bonner was sent home.Â
A week later, however, he got sick again, so he went back to RMC.Â
