University. I am treasurer of the Prelaw Society and i am Vice President of students for economic justice. I use balboa park station aphid everyday. I believe that my familiarity with balboa park station has come with me going to and from there everyday and will provide invaluable experience that will be beneficial to this committee. And that is about it. Great. Thank you, mr. Mauroff and a plied only for seat 3 . I would like to amend that to seat 1, muni riders interest. Thank you. Would you still like to be considered for seat 3 as well . Yes, i would. Seats 1 and 36789 thank you, mr. Mauroff and we have William Walker. Im sorry, that is mr. Hogan. Sorry about that. Thinking about anything innovative. They are not even get paid enough to go to the site visits and that is a problem and i will also throw on top of this is the chair of the Shelter Monitoring Committee, they went to that shelter twice. That is what it looks like. They went to that shelter twice and couldnt even inspect the shelter. So its really like corruption, a shelter a head person for the shelter an executive person for the shelter gets on the Shelter Monitoring Committee and then they have this whole thing where you cant even inspect their shelter. Thank you. Is there any other Public Comment on this item . Seeing none, Public Comment is closed of the supervisor campos. Thank you, madame chair and thank you for the presentation. I think that we have to heed the advice given and i look forward to working with supervisor kims office to see where were going from here. So, i know this is awkward. Can i suggest that perhaps before we forward this with no recommendation, its been close to a year that the seat has not been filled. In terms of the cac, and mr. Cohen was not accurate about this. Would appoint almost a year ago michael simmons, Affordable Housing developer who lives and works in the western addition. I think that, it would seem to me that given the time that has gone by, and given that the lgbt center does provide an awful lot of services to extremely lowincome people through both the economic know the programs and elsewhere, i would suggest that at a minimum would put this forward with no recommendation and see what the full board thinkgs. Supervisor kim i am not ready to do that now. I am open for a motion to continue. I would like to spend time speaking with mr. Wolf. I would like to articulate what you would be representing and i did not hear that. Maybe with time we can sit down and have that level of discussion. I would feel comforta
And there needs to be more connection between the station and the community and making sure that when we are evaluating whether were going to be redesigning the different buildings in the area around the balboa park station. That they support the needs not just of the community to make sure that pedestrians are safe and make sure traffic isnt overimpacted, but there are a lot of needs of students at city college of San Francisco that arent able to find housing. I personally didnt have housing for a period of time in San Francisco and if were going to be look at redeveloping the area and making sure its a safe place and if there is potential to create more of a high density neighborhood. So that people dont have to drive in the area. That that make it a better, safer, more Walkable Community considering were a transitfirst city. I have also worked in Public Transit and worked in the School District government. So i hopefully you kindly consider my appointment to seats 1, 2, 3 or 4. Than
