The First Friday Art Walk Sequim on Feb. 2 promises an evening filled with love, passionate pursues, red apparel, warm hearts, the virtues of fine wine, chocolate and sweet treats. It is also National Wear Red Day to increase awareness of heart health.
Local artists Sheri Whetstine and Terri Biondolino will be sharing their artwork in the windows at the Blue Whole Gallery First Friday Art Walk in early February and their work will be featured the rest of the month in an exhibit titled, “All You Need Is Love (and a Kiln).”
Deadline for items appearing in the community calendar is noon on Wednesday, one week before publication at editor@sequimgazette.com or delivered to the Sequim Gazette at 147 W. Washington St.
The Oct. 6 First Friday Art Walk Sequim color theme is orange — a warm, spicy, energizing, appetizing, sweet, zesty color that inspires optimism and activity. Participants will find works of art and folks supporting the option to dress in shades of orange or spicy fall colors as they enjoy an evening on the town with friends and family.
