Amy Long was named the Director of the Sheridan County Public Library System on Aug. 9.
Long began as a volunteer with the Douglas County Libraries in Colorado where she has worked since 2004. Since 2021 she has been the Manager of Materials Handling, overseeing five supervisors and 70 materials
