The 28th edition will start at 10 a.m. at Via Amore off Worth Avenue with registration beginning an hour earlier. The people who own the dogs. It s a chance for them to come out and show off their pets, said organizer Sherry Frankel of Sherry Frankel s Melangerie about the event s popularity. It s a fun event.
From dolled up Chihuahuas in car-shaped purses to a pig named Mona Lisa dressed in a jewel leotard and tutu, 25 pets last year gave it their all in the categories of Most Unique, Most Creative, Most Obedient and the coveted Best in Show. Frankel said she hope to have as many animals participate on Saturday.
