Art Taipei, an annual contemporary art fair in its 28th year, is to open at the Taipei World Trade Center in Xinyi District (信義) on Thursday. The fair is to bring together more than 4,000 works represented by 124 galleries from Taiwan and abroad, said the Taiwan Art Gallery Association, which organizes the event. Winners of Golden Tripods unveiled before ceremony

The Ministry of Culture on Friday announced the recipients of this year’s Golden Tripod Awards, the highest honor in Taiwan’s publishing industry. The recipients included Ink Publishing’s Chu An-min (初安民), who is to be honored for winning the special contribution category at an awards ceremony on Nov. 17.
