Nigerian Police Order Restriction Of Movements Ahead Of Supplementary Elections, Ban Local Security Personnel

The Nigeria Police Force, Sokoto State Command, has ordered restrictions from 12am to 6pm on April 15, for the rescheduled National Assembly Supplementary elections in the state. This was announced in a statement by DSP Sanusi Abubakar, the command`s Police Public Relations Officer on Friday in Sokoto. According to Abubakar, the order was issued in accordance with the Inspector-General of Police's directives, and it applies to all 23 Local Government Areas in the state.
