Bookmark-making competition
Mount Carmel School, Mohali, organised a bookmark-making competition for the students of classes VI - X. The students showed creativity in different ways. It was thrilling to observe such dedication in a competition which was held on an online platform. Pupils were competitive in a healthy way. The judges were awestruck by the exhilarating performance of the students.
Tributes paid to Guru Teg Bahadur
To commemorate the 400th birth anniversary of Guru Teg Bahadur, Guru Nanak International Public School, Ludhiana, chalked out year-long programmes in the academic session 2020-2021. Students of classes I to VIII participated in a series of events from their homes. Questions and answers related with his life were added in the syllabus. Besides, the students also composed poems, wrote ‘sakhis’ and voiced their thoughts by preparing lectures about his life.
