The three cases under the Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act were registered on Friday in Sangamner, Parner and Gahrgaon police stations. They have also been charged under provisions of the IPC and Juvenile Justice Act.
Through the demonstration, the protesters tried to bring to the notice of the authorities the "mismanagement" prevailing at the hospital and lack of basic facilities there.
Over 100 tribals were detained by Thane police on Monday while they were moving towards the sub-divisional officer's premises here as part of a protest demanding forest rights, caste certificates and other amenities, an official said.
