After several months of dragging his name in the mud as part of the sinister plans to remove him as Senate President and seize his political base of Kwara State, facts emerging from the retired Justice Tunde Garba-led Kwara State Judicial Panel of Enquiry investigating Police Brutality, are beginning to exonerate Dr. Bukola Saraki of alleged involvement in the April 5, 2018, Offa Bank robbery, which claimed 33 lives, many of whom were police officers.
Suspects involved in the bloody incident that led to the death of more than 20 persons, including police officers and civilians, are currently being prosecuted.

On Wednesday, two petitioners at the Judicial Panel of Enquiry on End SARS in Ilorin, Kwara State, said operatives of the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) tortured them to implicate Saraki.
They alleged that the officers told them to state that Saraki bought guns for them.
In their petition, Kehinde Gobir and Shuaib Jawando recalled that they spent over 73 days in police detention in Ilorin and Abuja.
They denied being used by Saraki for criminal activities, adding that they were only his political supporters.
