DAKAR, Senegal (AP) — Africa's star musicians hit the red carpet this past weekend at the annual All Africa Music Awards, celebrating the continent’s best talent.

The four-day event celebrating African musicians across the continent culminated Sunday evening in a stadium on the outskirts of Senegalese capital Dakar

Burna Boy, Davido and Wizkid win at the All Africa Music Awards, while Asake says his prize is a dream come true.

The event was the eighth edition of AFRIMA and the first to be held in a French-speaking country.
