We are on the 1400 block of spring brook road in walnut creek. You have a number of engines with contra costa fire working on this Single Family home that caught fire just before 4 00 a. M. They were able to put it out but of course crews are still here on the scene looking for hot spots following that fire. The brothers seen here in a photo given to us by neighbors. Police say they were shot to death hours before they were found. I got the call 8 00 oclock this morning. Okay. And shot straight down here. Andre, says the harper twins are his nephews. They were good men who helped others. Friends say the brothers grew up on the block and stayed close gathering together neighborhood kids for basketball games as a way to stay out of trouble. I told them stay out the streets. Especially at that time of morning any way. They my nephews. They live the street life. Whatever the case because they was good people. Take their shirt off their back and give it to anybody.
