The Colorado Agriculture in the Classroom program has experienced tremendous growth in demand from teachers wanting to include agriculture in their curriculum. So much so, there are currently 1,100 classrooms over 23,000 students .
Colorado Agriculture in the Classroom is seeking additional funding, as over 700 classrooms statewide have already enlisted in this year’s literacy program.
Students from all parts of the Centennial State will learn about the famous Pueblo pepper. The newly published children's book, Seed, Sprout, Spice! All About Pueblo Chiles, is sent out to participating elementary teachers through the Colorado Agriculture in the Classroom Literacy Project.
