I never stop learning and try to figure out where i need to put myself at the right time. It doesnt always work. The odds weve defied odds here in the last eight years or so in the daytona 500 but i just trust my instincts and so far theyve been good for me. I cant do it without the car. Making it capable for me to make those race winning moves. Congratulations on your backtoback 500s. Ryan blaney will leave daytona with a second place 500 finish. Walk us through the final laps. Yeah, we, you know, pushed newman there to the lead and then we got a push from the 11 and made a move. Newman blocked it. I kind of went low and he blocked that. I was committed to pushing him to the win. Try to have a ford win it and i dont know, we got bumpers hooked up wrong and turned him. I hope hes all right. It was pretty bad. Today as you mentioned having judge persky removed from an upcoming Sexual Assault case. It all comes down to a basic question of fairness. It is part of an ongoing fallout for his decision to sentence former stanford swimmer brock turner to six months in jail for Sexual Assaulting a woman who had passed out drunk in a Campus Fraternity party last year. Judge persky has faced backlash including calls for his removal or recalled. The d. A. s office says in this case a male nurse is accused of Sexual Assaulting a woman while knocked out during a medical procedure. Kpix 5 legal analyst Ladoris Cordell says it comes down to a question of whether or not the judge can be fair and impartial. They did not believe that he could be fair. And by fair meaning i think not in the presiding over the trial itself but if there were a conviction, they dont believe that office does not believe that he would be fair in the sentencing based upon what happened in the turner case.
