Connor Mosack was awarded the Cool Shirt Cool Move of the Race for his charge from 34th and last on the starting grid to today’s sixth-place finish.

It’s back to where it all started this weekend for Silver Hare Racing’s Connor Zilisch in the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli.

Zilisch’s lap of 1 minute, .595 of a second earned the 17-year-old the Omalagato Fastest Lap of the Race Award.

Today’s victory was Connor Zilisch’s second in a row, his fourth of the season and the fourth of his career. He started from the pole on a grid that was set by Saturday’s practice times after weather forced officials to abort that afternoon’s qualifying session.

Today’s victory was Connor Zilisch’s third of the season and the third of his career. He qualified on the pole during qualifying this morning but was sent to the back of the 34-car grid due to a post-qualifying technical inspection infraction.

In stark contrast to their youth, Silver Hare Racing’s driver duo of Connor Zilisch and Ben Maier have shown followers of their burgeoning racing careers on multiple occasions they have street smarts that could rival that of seasoned veterans in the sport.
