Ian Foster has been sacked as Plymouth Argyle head coach after just 14 league games in charge.The 47-year-old was appointed in January after being assistant manager to Steven Gerrard at Al Ettifaq in the Saudi Pro League.However, Monday's 1-0 home loss to Bristol City was Plymouth's eighth defeat in 11 league games and left them one point and one place above the Championship relegation places in 21st.Plymouth's director of football Neil Dewsnip will take charge of the side until the end of the season alongside coach Kevin Nancekivell.Chairman Simon Hallett said: “Ian was hired through a thorough and extensive recruitment process and his coaching credentials really stood out when making the appointment.“But we have to balance long-term stability against short-term decisions, and we have given Ian as long as possible to see if results could improve."Foster was appointed on January 5 after Plymouth had been without a head coach since Steven Schumacher departed to t
