Bridgerton showrunner defends season 2 over its lack of sex scenes: "Its not about quantity"

We review Season 2 of the soapy period romance drama Bridgerton, which retains the spark of Season 1 if not the flame to go with it.

Fans hoping to see more of the bare bottoms and raunchy sex scenes that made the first series such a hit are set to be disappointed, TV critics have warned in their reviews.

"Bridgerton," Chris Van Dusen’s Regency-era romance series based on the novels by Julia Quinn, returns to Netflix March 25 with a sophomore season that all but drives its predecessor from memory.
