OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Six Oklahomans have filed two federal lawsuits that challenge a state law intended to crack down on protesters and that allege their civil rights were violated

Both suits were filed on behalf of six Oklahomans who were involved in the 2020 protests following the death of George Floyd.

Oklahoma citizens represented by the ACLU have filed a federal lawsuit which challenge the state's anti-protest law. They have also challenged their 2020 arrest.

The lawsuit alleges Oklahoma riot laws infringe on rights of free speech and assembly. It also details incidents they said violated those rights.
