Despite national concern over a rise in coronavirus cases, there was considerable turnout on Friday for what was to be the last night of bowling for 2020.
John Wagner, a 51-year-old bowler from Palmyra, said, “it is what it is.” Wagner works at Hersheypark and he said he’s not afraid of going to the bowling alley.
“If people are scared, they can stay home themselves,” he added.
Amy Eiserman, the 49-year-old owner of Palmyra Bowling, said that the new rules are going to impact her business severely. We have a loyal bowling base that has been supporting us. Now, I have to lay most of my staff off right before Christmas, she said.
