DIMAPUR Assam Rifles celebrated Veterans Day across districts in Nagaland. The celebration took place in Kohima on March 23, where 80 veterans, including
Dimapur, Oct. 5 (EMN): Dimapur battalion of the Assam Rifles organised a ten-day National integration Tour (NIT) to Gujarat for the students of Dimapur and Chümoukedima districts from Nagaland. The tour, which began on September 10 would culminate on October 10. A total of 16 students including nine girls and seven boys and two professors from Tetso College and St. Joseph University are taking part in the tour. During the tour, students will visit various important institutes and attractions in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Jamnagar, stated an update from the Assam Rifles. As a part of the National integration Tour, the students got the opportunity to meet and interact with the Governor of Gujarat on October 5. The students and professors from Nagaland were hosted at Raj Bhavan, the official residence of Governor of Gujarat.
