Term limits supporters have sued over the new law meant to make it hard to get proposals like term limits on the ballot.

On December 1 st, Judy Stone, President of the County Council presented her letter of resignation to Republican Chairman Dave Holmes.  She was resigning with two years and one month left in her four year term. Friday evening three candidates will face-off to fill the vacancy on the County Council that was vacated December 1 st when Judith Stone submitted her resignation to Republican Chairman David Holmes.
