Construction starting this summer on a consolidated elementary school means high school and other teams that play at Memorial Field must now find a new home, most likely at the community center, but it could take a few years.
Residents told selectmen Tuesday that teams won't have a field on which to play next year, but town officials say they have a plan to build fields near the Skowhegan Community Center.
