Vanessa and Savannah Shain went missing April 17 when they ran away from home following an argument with their parents. Both had left their Chesterfield Township residence without their cell phones. Police believed the pair may have been in western Wayne County and sought information from the public about the girlsâ whereabouts. They were located on the west side of Detroit a few days later and taken back to Chesterfield Township.
