The Hyundai Ioniq 5 has been named UK Car of the Year 2022, by a panel of 29 motoring journalists.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 (pictured above) has claimed the title of UK Car of the Year 2022. The win means that in three out of the past four years, battery power has triumphed over the internal combustion engine.

BMW, Fiat, Genesis, Hyundai, Kia, Porsche, Skoda and Toyota all gained recognition from motoring journalists as UK Car of the Year Awards 2022's category winners were revealed.
