Starting today, Gemini is running on Bard and Google’s Pixel 8 Pro phones. The company says it blows OpenAI out of the water.

Google has unveiled its advanced AI model Gemini. It is now available in Bard and Pixel phones to users worldwide.

Starting today, the company said Bard will use a fine-tuned version of Gemini Pro which will be available in English across 170 countries and territories, including India.​

The Pixel 8 Pro is the first phone to get access to Googles Gemini Nano on-device AI, which itll use initially to improve its Summarize and Smart Reply features.

The Gemini models are being developed in three iterations, differentiated by capability and processing power requirements. For consumers, Google Bard and Pixel 8 Pro phones will offer a first tryst with the new model.
