A Piedmont Natural Gas main gas line has been severed at 3255 Hickory Blvd. (Smokey Mountain Furniture) in Hudson. Nearby residents were asked to shelter in place and limit time outdoors. Residents should be cognizant of new onset of headache, dizziness, and nausea.
U.S. 321 was closed between Mission Road and Pine Mountain Road in both directions as of 4:20 p.m. Use alternate routes for travel and be prepared for delays.
Repairs were expected to take approximately ten hours to complete.
